Beginning as a strength trainer, I quickly found myself immersed in several movement disciplines and additionally certified to teach Yoga, Pilates, Crossfit, and Kettlebells. Bits of each of these modalities inform all I do -- whether assisting with injury, optimizing performance, or designing a class.
Additionally a Neuromuscular and Sports Massage Therapist, my decades of experience with a wide variety of athletes and injury clientele has provided vast insight to how humans are built and move. I strive to widely cast my net of understanding by studying the body from all vantage points--believing continuing education to be vitally important. Nothing lights a fire under me more than learning something new about our anatomical structure, and there's always something new to learn. I'm fortunate to have trained with some of the world's greatest leaders in movement and bodywork, and passionate about continuing to do so.
Ridiculously fascinated by the intricacies of anatomy and movement, and dedicated to deepening my comprehension of it, I delight in helping others find joy in their physicality. The ability to participate in one's favorite things matters, and the process of optimizing human performance can be every bit as fun as the result. I'm a guide and an educator in this, helping to empower people to take their bodies into their own hands, and maybe even love it just a smidge more than before.
